Hello friends. Welcome back to the podcast. Good morning, good evening, and good night. So where have I been? My family has been sick for the past three months. On and off. The last podcasts that I had published were, you know, pre-planned. Pre-recorded, and they were scheduled and eventually we ran out because your girl had pneumonia. And I was so busy taking care of all of my family, my husband, my kids, and then eventually I was down. And when I was down, I was down for a week and yeah, whatever sickness went around this year, that wasn't the flu and that wasn't a cold. It was probably both combined, but I had pneumonia, so I don't, I don't even know where I got that from. Like I work from home. How did I get pneumonia? Oh my gosh. What a time it has been. So hopefully you are staying away from the sicknesses. Or maybe you just got over a sickness yourself because it's February. And what are we doing being so sick like this when it was 50 degrees yesterday in Michigan. It's such a crazy time to be alive. So I wanted to catch you guys up on what I've been working on. In this episode, we're gonna be diving into the amazing, incredible idea I've had since, of course, as always, December 31st. So at the end of every single year. I always get a huge brain dump of ideas for the next year. It's always been this way. That's how I got the idea for Wedding Atelier, the rebrand. That's how I got the idea for wedding CEO to begin with. It always happens at the end of the year, and my whole plan just kind of executes perfectly on time. I don't know how it works. I don't know. It's because I'm finally resting, easing into the holidays and not planning, not hustling, like just existing. That's when all my cre creative ideas come. So I also recorded a little behind the scenes of the process as well. Well, this idea initially came to me right before Christmas, and so I had my alumni hop on and I was like, Hey, I have this idea. Tell me what is it that you want right now in the industry and wedding Atelier is our creme de la creme, our high-end one-stop shop to go from three K to 10 K. Like we've done it, we have done it. Continue to do it. We've had dozens, made six figures in 12 months. Like that's great. Right? She's the high end girly. But you know, with the recent industry shifts and politics changes and just life is lifeing. I mean, the bad news, I literally have to log off of social media because it, it gets so taxing on you when you're seeing all that's happening in the world. It's overwhelming, but amongst all of those things, the problem still remains and it is about getting consistent inquiries. In the past, magnetic marketing still stands. Honestly, high level to me, high level marketing is attraction marketing. To me, it is putting out content that you know that you're going to get back, but. Due to everybody doing the same thing the exact same way, and clients getting a lot of overwhelm from so many decisions because everybody is the same. And so I had this thought, what if I broke down my artist story into consistent content pieces where you are consistently showing up. With that content that magnetically invites them into your space, not the, if this is your style, I'm the photographer. Like, no needy pick me. I just, no cringe. Ick. No. But what if you put things out there that lets them know who you are, who you serve and why, and just really putting all of that out there, but consistently with a unique edge that only speaks to your dream couple. I think that is the idea. And so our membership has been born and we have nine girlies in the membership and 10 was actually my goal. Okay. And that leads me back to my origin story. So. The reason my business even went viral in the first place was because I was showing up on Instagram with no results for two years. Okay, now you don't have to do that. You don't have to wait two years to be seen. But back then, Instagram didn't really have an algorithm. 2015, I was like, let me reposition my Instagram. I need to learn how to put out what I want to get back. Right? We do that with our portfolios, but do we do that with our Instagram? I aligned my Instagram content. I posted back then it was three to five times a day y'all, three to five times a day. And finally the Metro Times picked up my Instagram profile, listed me as number one, and I was number one out of the top 10 Instagram accounts to follow that month, which was three days after I had my newborn daughter. I booked 17 weddings. I don't even know how many inquiries I had. I think I can go back in the data, like I can look at all the inquiries that came in.'cause I, A girl didn't have a CRM, but I had a ton. A ton of inquiries but booking 17 weddings in a month is insane from Instagram. And so as my business began to evolve, Instagram also was how I was founded by press publications, editors, my clients that were movie directors, my clients that were in politics like. It's really interesting to think that Instagram has become like that five to ten second glance at like, do I wanna work with this person, yes or no? And then they kind of dig around and see if you guys align with each other. And yes, or website does the heavy lifting because your website, you control the journey of the client, what page they go to next, they get to see full galleries, they get to see blogs, they get to really do their research before they say yes. But ultimately, if you even think about it right now, I know you probably have a, a love or hate relationship with Instagram, but when I hear somebody's name, I either Google search them, and when I Google search them, I look up their Instagram. I don't know what it is. it's like a status symbol of your Instagram to see, okay, how many followers does this person have? Let me look at their grid. And their grid kind of lets you know who this person is, what kind of content they like. Their highlights. Also let you know behind the scenes of who this person is in real life, have they been featured? What kind of services do they provide? and that goes across the board with celebrities, people you hire, people you admire. It all leads back to Instagram. And TikTok has almost gone away how many times now? Like three times. So while it's a great platform to use. I know Instagram's not going anywhere because the Metaverse is so strong and constantly evolving and giving us features that we don't want, so we stay on the platform. I don't think Instagram's going anywhere, but if it does, you have other marketing platforms for sure, but the fastest way to get traction, to get visibility, to get inquiries is Instagram. And the cool thing about Instagram is now it's becoming SEO Rich, which is insane. So now your posts are searchable through Google, like a blog post, like a website page, which means every post matters and your captions matter no more. What a sunset that was. Oh, I love golden hour. The vibes. If I see one more Instagram post talking about the vibes I, so where, I want you to be able to create content in this ever evolving online world that really connects and it sticks. And when people search and your Instagram post comes up, it feels aligned with what a couple wants and high-end couples now are actually relying more on Google search and SEO than anything else.
