Hello. Hello. Welcome back to the Wedding Atelier podcast. If I sound sick, it's because I am, and, you know what? It's my fault I should not have put off this episode. I was like, oh my gosh. I'll do it when I get back from my birthday vacation. Guess what? The birthday vacation got me. Okay, because the weather change. Knocked me out again. Like you can't go from 77 to 40 degrees, but in Michigan you can. Okay. And so it got me. I am on here to talk about what I've been working on with Wedding Atelier for the past two and a half months. It's crazy. I launched in Demand and then I started really just micro Skyping. Wedding atelier, what's going on in the industry, what my students are struggling with, what the people really want. And I finally listened. Okay. So I really want to tell you about what we're working on at Wedding Atelier, what's included this time that we're launching in 2026, I'm updating the masterclass. We're adding new testimonials and new features to wedding atel. At this point, it's like a done with you wedding photography business program. It's not just marketing, it's not just sales. It's the whole thing. It's the whole thing. I don't even know where to be and I have no notes. I apologize if we're going around in circles and you wanna get off the ride, I get that. Put me on one and a half speed. Been there, done that. Understand. So I'm gonna walk you through. The new support features that we're adding in Wedding Atelier that I'm the most excited about. Okay so with the luxury wedding industry and the way things have shifted, especially with inflation and how the prices is going up and people are saying, oh, 10 K is not luxury anymore, but then people with seven K are saying it is luxury. I'm just gonna have an opinion. If it's not at least 10 K, I really don't. Think it's luxury, like mid luxury maybe, but not luxury. And the reason why I say that is because I've done it, but also that seven to nine K range is like almost, this is just my opinion, but I feel like a luxury wedding either has a done for you team, it has a wedding planner, client has money for this. Very much done for you style and architecture. Very expensive. Florals, very expensive details, and everything's executed properly, so I've shot weddings that were at seven K where they didn't book a planner, but they spent all of their money on details. And I was probably one of their biggest expenses, which I was so honored and I did really love my seven to nine K clients dearly. But at the end of the day, I was still doing wedding planner stuff, but I was charging like 7,700 or something like that. So I don't know. That's just like my whole spiel is like it needs to at least be 10 K or higher, and I don't even think the word luxury should be attached to it. Okay. So now with the way things are going, the way that couples are finding clients is different because we're looking at more of a Gen Z client as millennials are aging out As a millennial who's 35, has been married for 12 years and has two kids, I can see that. The things that they want and value are different, and so I feel like the middle has disappeared, which the mid range is the part that I'm talking about. You either have to stay low or jump high, if you're like, okay. I've been at, I've been at three to 5K for years, terrified to raise my prices. I can't do it, then stay there. Then you'll have your consistent bookings, but you may be burned out. You may, unless you decide to build a team and divide, weddings so you don't pass away. Ask me how I know. Or you could raise your prices very quickly. Honestly, that's really what we did is I raised my prices really quickly. I booked a couple at my higher rates and then I did not look back. You just, you have to run. You have to run. But once you just run with open arms, you'll never look back. You're not gonna be like, oh yeah can't wait to book another wedding at six K. No, once you book a 10 K wedding, you're gonna be like, can I book a 20 k? Can I book above and beyond? And that was one of the missing pieces. So one of my students who's actually coming on this is a bonus episode. I my kids are outside playing like it's so random guys. RIP, but I'm interviewing her tomorrow, actually on the podcast and, she's gonna walk through her journey She did a free pricing audit with me last year and I saw that her prices were six K and I looked at her awards, I looked at her positioning. I looked at her images and I said, what on earth? What is, what's the matter? What's the problem? And so we judged up her pricing. She came up with these custom packages and proposals and what do you know your girl's booking at 20 K? 30 K, 40 K weddings? Yes, you heard me correctly. She has booked a 40 K wedding. She'll be talking about that on the podcast. She's now our luxury wedding coach because obviously, so if you are stuck, at the, I just don't know if I can push to 10 K. She did it in a year, y'all. She did it in a year. She works with the best wedding planners in the south of France. She's constantly networking She is the girl and she is now our luxury wedding coach. Any questions you have about the luxury wedding industry, that's our girl. We have also added. We have also added a copy coach. Now she is a sales backed copywriter. And there's one thing about me, y'all. I love sales. I love that you say sales. Prove it to me. Show it to me. I'm in, I'm all in. Okay. She ripped up my webpage in 30 minutes and she's yeah, I guessed on programs. I could be like a copyright in your program. I said, hired, sold. Like, when do you start? She's like, I can start next month. So we have a a wedding industry sales copywriter who's gonna rip up anything that you post inside of the program. You guys what? Why haven't I had this sooner actually people have been asking for it, but I'm listening. I'm listening. 2026 is gonna be the year that Allure listens and I'm listening. So we have a sales back copywriter. If you want her to rip apart an email before you send it, your website copy, she's ripping it all up. You make a post. She does feedback, whether it's a video or a written text, and you're off to the races. Okay. So excited about this. So excited. I can't even, and we also have an SEO coach inside of the program. Now, they're not necessarily like a co-coach, but they are specialized people in their field. So it's not necessarily something I've taught them. This is something they already know. They, I didn't just raise them up to be a coach. Like they have this knowledge, they've gotten results, and they're sharing that with you at a fraction of the price because on the side they charge way higher. Then the program that Atelier provides. Every other month she's offering SEO audits done for you. You submit your webpage, she looks it over and a beautiful Canva document like she has a canvas slideshow And she rips everything up to shreds. Yeah, if you're like, oh my gosh, what am I ranking? She'll let you know. She'll let you know. So that alone is actually worth the investment of joining what Aate. But that is just the beginning. That is just the tip of the iceberg.
